The Count of Monte Cristo (2002)

Early on, I admit that I wasn’t digging it. It was all important stuff, but it was dark. It reminded me of the beginning of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. I’ll reference that film again later on. Initially, I preferred Fernand Mondego (Guy Pearce) to Edmond Dantes (Jim Caviezel). I don’t know if this was intended, but his character spoke to me, which probably speaks to how awful of a human being I am. Ah well.

Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings (1993)

The sequel to Pumpkinhead is definitely odd.  Is this even a real sequel?  It feels like they drastically changed the mythology in this one.  This also got a video game release on the PC on DOS, as a first-person shooter.  Well, I’ll be damned! As I said, this doesn’t seem to have anything to do […]

Leprechaun (1993)

Finally, we’re back to a classic franchise that has lost its ways numerous times, but still, he’s an all-time guy. That’s right, I’m talking about Leprechaun.  Let’s enjoy Jennifer Aniston before she was some idiot at Central Perk making the nation dumber one Friends episode at a time. First of all, if you’ve ever seen […]

The Final (2010)

Here’s another gem I discovered a couple years back on Netflix. I absolutely love finding movies on Netflix that I had never heard of. Right away we have 3 popular chicks talking about some halloween party and one, the leader says “I got us some costumes that scream, we want sex, just not with you” […]
