Once the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise was established, horror fans dreamed of seeing these 2 icons on screen together. The closest we ever got was in Jason Goes to Hell. Then in 2003, after many scripts, we finally got to see the 2 biggest horror icons together in the same film. Surprisingly, the film delivered! It was really good. It had a solid cast with Monica Keena, Kelly Rowland, Katharine Isabelle, Jason Ritter, and Brendan Fletcher, along with Robert Englund and Ken Kirzinger as the titular characters. This film was so well received, it was only a matter of time to reignite both franchises, right? Well, not really. It took too long and neither franchise bounced back, unfortunately.
