I was so pumped when I saw the trailer for this movie. What a great little idea. One night a year for 12 hours, people can do whatever the fuck they want, kill people, what ever, sheer anarchy. It stars Ethan Hawke and the chick from Game of thrones that has the dragons. I’m sold.
30 mins later, I truly lost interest and I never fully recovered. Great plot idea carried out terribly. I don’t want to offer spoilers as it is still so new. Just know that the obvious twist happens and it’s just bland. I am not usually this disappointed, I keep my expectations low, but I just didn’t think this would be THAT bad.
I am giving it a 3.2 and that’s fairly fucking awful. Bland and uninspiring is the words I would use to describe this unfortunately.
