Now we have a contender was best under the radar movie on Netflix for this year for me. Yes, I’m pretty excited.
This movie is simple. A maniac escapes the asylum and comes back to the house where he witnessed his mom get raped and murdered. That same house is where there is gonna be a Halloween party. Simple as fuck plot, but executed very well. Yeah, it does have some cheesy elements, but by and large, it’s been fun. The maniac where’s a mask and everybody thinks he is Todd. There’s a sweet swerve mid way through the movie that I truly thought was genius. There ate a lot of tit shots and lesbian scenes and a bathtub scene, and sex scenes. So it fills that quota like I fill your mother.
I think the death count reached double digits, a good amount of blood. Nothing terribly creative, but nothing much that will make you groan outloud, well unless…..ya know, I’m just leaving that one alone. I do want to say, this is another perfect party movie. It requires little to no paying attention to get the gist of everything. That’s a plus for some folks. I don’t think you will hate this movie, you may not enjoy it as much as I did, but I am a sucker for this stuff.
As far as a rating goes, I’ll go 6.2 and I think it has potential to reach 7 after a few watchings. Yeah, I was that pleased.
