Tonight She Comes (2016)

If you are squeamish of blood, gore, or gross, this film is not for you.  I feel that is a necessary warning before delving into this film.  With that being said, if you are not a coward, you are in for a bloody good treat.  Who doesn’t like a hot bloody nude chick as the antagonist?

If you look on IMDB, the reviews may make you rethink taking the time to watch this.  Since I don’t trust morons on IMDB, I took the dive and I am so happy that I did.  This is meant to be tongue in cheek.  To read the reviews, clearly most took this WAY too seriously.

The story at it’s most basic is that James is a mailman and he can’t find this one place.  His buddy Pete is with him and encourages him to just throw away the letter.  James thinks he knows where the place is, so Pete gets out and wants some alone time.  Pete sees two hot chicks, Ashley and Lyndsey, who are waiting for their friend, Kristy.  The girls playfully untie each other’s bikini tops and then they see Pete in the distance jerking off.  James comes up on the cabin and something happens, and well he ends up with the 2 girls.  Some partying happens and then Kristy is found by Pete across the lake.

Kristy then crosses the lake, but she is now covered in blood.  Oh did I mention that Kristy is not only very attractive but nude the whole film?  Gentlemen, you’re welcome.  Crazy shit goes down.  Eventually, they get in the cabin….with a somewhat crazy, if not threatening family.  We have Francis, the father, Phillip the brother, and the great Felicity, the sister.  Francis is such a treat in his role.  From there, this film goes beyond batshit crazy, off the rails, keep your belts buckled level.

I won’t ruin anything beyond this point.  It’s an 84-minute film.  Trust me, you will be fine spending that time on something this fun.  Yeah, there is a couple of true gross-out scenes, but I didn’t think they were all that bad.  We have all seen FAR worse.  Critics are over-exaggerating things, in my opinion.  I think this is a must-see for people who like something a bit different.  It’s not for everybody, but neither is Baskin, Grotesque, and any other number of horror flicks, but they all serve a purpose.

Rating: 6.5 I really enjoyed the hell out of this film and want to watch it again.  I really recommend this one if you like something that has some cliches but feels wholly original and fun.

I am doing a GoFundMe to help pay for the costs to keep 9deuce.com up and running.  I don’t make any money off of the site.  I do it because I love it, but it is expensive at times, and I had to recently renew for 3 years.  So I am asking any of my readers to consider donating if they have the extra funds.  If you don’t, I get it.  It would mean a lot to me.
